Tormentum: Dark Sorrow
Tormentum: Dark Sorrow is a point-and-click adventure game set in a grim, dark fantasy world. In this game, you play as a nameless prisoner who is sent to a cell in nightmarish castle for an unknown crime. To escape the castle, explore the wastelands, find out more about yourself and regain your memories, you have to complete puzzles and interact with the many strange characters in this world, who will either try to help or stop you. The story of Tormentum can be affected by the player's actions by means of the moral choices presented throughout the game, as the prisoner can decide on which characters live or die, affecting the narrative later on.
This game uses a surreal, hand-painted art style which emphasizes the darkness of the characters and the world of Tormentum. The game also contains over 20 various puzzles and mini-games that tap into the player's logical skills to complete them during the prisoner's journey.
