The Controllers is a 1-player adventure game for the TRS-80 CoCo.
While scavenging a west coast city which will be destroyed by your masters, the Controllers. You find an odd looking shuttle large enough to hold only one person. Climbing in, the door accidentally shuts behind you. You become dizzy as your vision greys. Minutes later, your senses return. It is clear now that the Controllers are able to manipulate the human will. Somehow the shuttle must shield you from this. You cannot leave the shuttle! Are there others who know what you do? There things you must find out and if any way possible destroy the Controllers.
Played from within the capsule, all commands and directions are graphically displayed on the right of the screen. The player has limited fuel and battery power. Fuel is used for movement, and can be found during exploration. The shuttle also has a power supply, which is used to control the ship's flashlights. Gas, power, and other items can be found during exploration. The player can pick up and drop items, and there is a map of visited locations. There is also a save/restore feature.
