Midnight Margo

Midnight Margo is an adventure game with light RPG elements. The player takes the role of Margo, a mid-20s adult who is learning to deal with her traumas and insecurities by role-playing her own life - fetch quests, stat-based gear, an omniscient narrator, etc. Her ultimate goal is to solve the mystery of a dead schoolmate.

Gameplay has the player interacting with people and objects in city locales, each accessible from a map. Most scenes are static with limited interactions. Margo can collect and equip various pieces of clothing which allow her to manipulate her social statistics, such as Street Smartness and Mental Resilience. These stats are used to solve character-driven puzzles, often with stat-specific outcomes.
