Ghost Whisperer

Ghost Whisperer is a hidden object game based on the US CBS supernatural television drama Ghost Whisperer. Originally announced to have five stories, the final game shipped with two cases: A Brush with Death and Forgotten Toys. These cases were previously also made available separately through other compilations.

In both cases the main character Melinda needs to solve cases and uses her ability to see and communicate with ghosts and souls who are stuck between two worlds in limbo. In A Brush with Death Melinda investigates a haunted painting on loan to the Grandview art museum with Delia Banks. In Forgotten Toys she finds a ghost accompanying an elderly toy mogul in his mansion.

The game contains story sequences with conversations between characters and more classic adventure elements where items are gathered in an inventory and then used at different locations. There are also more general puzzles as well as traditional hidden object scenes where items need to be located in the scenery based on words listed at the bottom.
