Art of Murder: Hunt for the Puppeteer
Art of Murder: Hunt for the Puppeteer is the sequel of
Art of Murder: FBI Confidential.
Once more you play FBI investigator Nicole Bonnet, who has to solve this time a series of brutal murders that have taken place in the USA. The killer seems to have a special trademark: the body is always accompanied by a mysterious doll dressed in 18th century clothing. A seemingly similar death is discovered across the ocean in Paris, France, so Bonnet starts her investigation in Paris. But it will bring her to Spain and Cuba as well, and it will lead to discoveries that date back centuries ago.
Hunt for the Puppeteer is like the original game a 3rd person adventure and identical in game play. The player has to collect evidence in bags, take fingerprints and analyze clues, and solve numerous puzzles (including a slider and timed puzzle). The scrollable inventory is fixed at the bottom of the screen. To the right of the inventory there are icons to access a journal (that includes an overview of the dialogues and documents), a cell phone and the options screen. The game includes subtitles.
