YOOMURJAK'S RING

Jonathan Hunt is a young American journalist. His mother was born in Hungary and taught Jonathan the culture and the language of her home country. After her death, Jonathan decides to visit her birthplace. He also wants to visit the picturesque town of Eger he has read about in an old Hungarian novel - and probably start a new life there. But he also has another reason to go there…

There were two letters in that old book from a strange Hungarian scientist, addressed to Jonathan’s great-grandfather, Samuel Hunt back in 1898. The man who lived in Eger claimed to have discoveries about no less than travelling in time.

Upon arriving in Eger, Jonathan wants to find the descendants of this man but nobody seems to have heard of them. Only Juli, the charming assistant of the tourist information office gives him a number of hints, and an old man seems to have some promising information. It is a family legend about the most peculiar funeral of an apprentice who worked for the scientist himself. However, the sudden death of Jonathan’s new supporter awakens his curiosity and prompts him to start an investigation of his own…
