Reactor 09 is a free 2D click-and-point adventure game. It features an inventory and interactions can be executed via an interface by holding the right mouse button.

The player takes the control of Dr. Galivan who was the leading engineer to create the reactor 09. Now he is convicted for murder and an inmate in the Zion 5 state prison. Inmates can try to establish trust to correctional officers by work and good behaviour and therefore get privileges and even reduce their sentence.

After an accident in the reactor 09 you find yourself locked in a part of the prison together with the correctional officer Matthew Holmstett. You begin with a negative trust level, that you can try to improve, but also reduce during the game based on your actions.

You share a common inventory with the officer, but you can only access items of the officer with his consent. Depending on the relationship between you and the officer you can get up to three different endings.
