Murder on the Waterfront is a text adventure with graphics for the Commodore 64.

The sweet young daughter of Edward Harrington Mountford III had been kidnapped. A note demanding $500,000 has been received. A deadline of midnight has been set for the ransom to be delivered to a deserted warehouse on the docks of 52nd street. It was signed by the infamous Mad Murphy, head of the Irish Gang. You, Basil Byron, have been hired to rescue sweet young Mary. If you are successful the ransom is yours.

All commands are via VERB NOUN input, and locations are graphically displayed on the screen. The player must explore the seedy underworld near the docks, and can enter a number of local establishments. Most mistakes are fatal. Games can be saved in progress.
